Tamara Kwapich is a multidisciplinary artist working in both ceramics and paint. Her work is illustrative and quasi representational with a strong use of line and colour. Traditional storytelling, fables and myth are her main inspirations as is her fascination with animal behaviour and the patterns of nature. She creates whimsical creatures from clay who often emerge unprompted to tell their own stories.
Tamara Kwapich is a Burlington born artist with bachelor degrees in Fine art and Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph. She is an award winning artist creating and teaching out of her studio in Hamilton, Ontario.
