Founded in 1914, the Art Gallery of Hamilton is the oldest and largest art museum in the region with a permanent collection that is recognized as one of the finest in Canada. Embracing Canadian historical, international, and contemporary art, the collection consists of more than 10,000 works.

   Catherine is a lifelong resident of Hamilton, with deep family roots in the city.  She has called the Locke St neighbourhood home for over 30 years and she understands the dynamics and nuances of every neighbourhood, which is a valuable asset when helping her clients find a home that perfectly suits their lifestyle.With an extensive background in the fashion industry Catherine held roles in retail and design including children’s wear design and product development for several major manufactures, a buyer for Holt Renfrew, and positions in sales, management and merchandising for various retailers. She was also the proprietor of Small Talk Clothing Co., a designer children’s wear boutique in Hamilton, for over 15 years. As an entrepreneur, Catherine made significant contributions to the local business community, including establishing the King St West BIA. Her efforts were recognized when she received the "Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award" in 1996 from the Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce. These experiences allowed her to build invaluable connections with professionals across the city.Since 2010 Catherine has been a top producer at Judy Marsales Real Estate Ltd. working out of the Locke St office. When Lucie subsequently started in Commercial real estate sales, she had already built her own portfolio of investment properties and worked in property management and rental property leasing. She spent four years as National Manager for Royal LePage Commercial, working with Brokers and Agents across Canada to develop a competitive advantage of national reach across urban centres and smaller markets, coast-to-coast.

Lucie holds a BComm from Ryerson Unversity and is involved in mentor and leadership roles with Big Sisters and as a Board member for The Hamilton and District Apartment Association, a non-profit organization, believed to be one of the oldest landlord and property management associations in Ontario.
 

I'm a late in life fempreneur. In 2021 after a 30+ year career in the corporate world I turned my focus to what I love - mentoring and empowering women.  I work with women from as far away as southern Africa (online) to right here in Hamilton (sometimes out of our fabulous coffee shops and venues where I host in-person workshops) who want to get unstuck. I believe the most valuable real estate that a woman owns is her psyche and her agency, so we work together to understand and unpack the stories we tell ourselves.

As a well-versed global citizen I have seen what a thriving art scene does for people. I have lived on three continents, in two hemispheres and called five different cities home. In each place I have explored local artists and artisans. Art, in many forms, has also traveled with us from one home to the next, creating a wonderful history of experiences. The memories of curious exploration are a delightful reminder of a life lived.

I moved to Hamilton with my husband in 2017 because we love the creative heart of this city. There is art (mostly very accessible) everywhere you look.  

 Martinus is a proud Hamiltonian, an urban enthusiast, and a leading local real estate professional. Deeply involved in Hamilton, he owned and operated a marketing agency and publishing company. His agency also founded and ran the Hamilton 24-Hour Film Festival, the Novemburger burger festival, and grew to publish several specialty print publications and digital properties, and operate an indoor billboard network. As a hobby, Martinus operated educational bus tours of various cities. In fact, he has led over 275 people on tours of Hamilton, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Minneapolis, and Detroit. Martinus also served as a marketing and communications executive for a major Ontario financial institution before resigning from corporate life to pursue his love of real estate as a licensed agent. His skills and

experience in marketing, construction, finance, and community development have helped him build a vibrant and growing real estate practice.

Martinus loves cities, architecture, the creative arts, and his community. When he isn't showing properties or spending quality time with his wife and two children, he enjoys exploring new cities, running increasing distances, reading thick non-fiction books, and solving the world's

problems with friends.
